Who we are:
Useful Network is a Social Enterprise. Our company develops tools and concepts for disadvantaged and disabled people. We develop remote care products for care providers and service users. All our products will serve the health needs, providing wellbeing and social value for everybody in the community.
From the company’s memorandum:
“The object of the company is to carry on business as a general commercial company and to be and act as a Social Enterprise and to serve the community, the arts, the health, wellbeing of vulnerable, disadvantaged, disabled and minority sector of society and equality society in general. The products and services of the Company are devoted to this. fifty percent of the Company and its assets and profits are locked and protected by the Directors, and will be reinvested in the Company's objective. This fifty percent can not be distributed as shares, Capital or asset or in any way used other than for the Company's objectives”.
We will use fifty percent of our annual profits for projects chosen by the board that have a positive impact on the community, health, wellbeing and art & music.
Mission Statement:
We, at Useful Network, are working to develop tools and systems that will enable the choices and lives of disabled persons. We endeavour to offer them greater choice and greater dignity. Our primary consideration as a company is to ensure customer dignity and discretion. To us as an organization there are the core values of dignity, choices and honour that our customers should expect to receive. We also aim to encourage equality in our organization no one shall ever feel discriminated against over gender, race, disability, religion and orientation. We aim to recruit our employees from our customer base.
